Your place is lovely - a great location, close to the beach, shopping, restaurants, and pickleball! I also appreciate having the washer and dryer in the unit. It was my first time to Florida, my husband's second, and we drove over 2,000 miles to get here. Not that we live that far, in Waco, Texas, but we did a road trip through 11 states on the way here and we'll drive through two more, Mississippi and Louisiana, to get home. We have a bucket list to play pickleball in all 50 states, so we played in 11 states on the way here. (Phew!) Thanks for making Florida memorable with your place and our stay here. We hope to come back and bring our grandkids. Blessings to Y'all.

We are The Bankses, We really enjoyed your beautiful home, it was just as I saw in the picture and more!! The price can't be beat other than free! :) We were celebrating our 35th Anniversary, some relaxing time for us two. The only drawback was that we were not informed that there would be some work going on next door (with a little noise). We will be back probably for the summer.

Love the Decor and location and affordable for this time of year. Suggestions: provide a hair dryer, extra pillows, paper towels, fan/noise machine. Only negative on arrival was an extremely noticeable cat urine smell for which we had to purchase air freshener to resolve.

Great stay! We will be back!

A quick family vacation planned for the end of the summer with the goal of beach, sandwiches, and relaxation time. The ocean water was perfect, we built a massive sandhole with "train tracks" and navigated "choppy waters" with sharks all around. Enjoyed trip and loved exploring Destin. The place offered incredible views, relaxing mornings, and frequent beach visits (especially w) naptime factored in!

This beach trip was somewhat bittersweet for us. The 23rd was the one year anniversary of me losing my 25 year old son. So I felt like I need to be here because a portion of his ashes are scattered here in the gulf. It was hard but also wonderful to feel close to him. We could not have asked for a better place to stay - love the decor so much! Beautiful beach lineup from the living area and guest room. Enjoyed the back patio area also. Thank you for opening your home to us and allow us to spend as much needed time here with our son.

Quick trip to the beach before our youngest is back to college. Hurricane Debby was 150 miles east and water was amazing. Weather was unseasonably hot so spent a lot of time in the water. Condo had everything we needed!

3rd family trip to Destin. Weather was great. Condo nice! We will be back sometime again!

This weekend, we stayed to celebrate Mother's Day. Our stay was filled with precious memories as we attended Brandi Carlile's Mothership weekend Sunday to see Brandi Carlile, Bonnie Raitt, and S.G. Goodman perform live! Saturday & Sunday were our best beach days. Offering us perfect beach weather conditions; however Monday was severe weather storms. Around 11:30am, we went to Pancakery to eat. We were caught in tornadic winds only later to realize it was a confirmed tornado we were in. No damage to buildings though. The host, Heather Vanderboom and condo were very welcoming. Beds slept great. Gorgeous view of the beach. Definetly felt like a home away from home. We hope to stay with Sandpiper Cove again in the near future.

We have been coming to Sandpiper Cove about every other year (used to be a lot more often) since 1985. It is truly the only place we stay when in Destin. We honeymooned there in 1993. We love the peace and overall feel of Holiday Isle. Our stay here in 2150 was among the nicest of our stays here. Beachfront, decor, the whole setup of the condo so perfect and we hope to come back to this one! We are dreading our leave in the morning & tried to stay another day. We love having the views from the den + bedroom. A bonus was the ability to bring our pup, Ellie. We felt right at home. Thank you. P.S. We enjoyed watching the storm — it was both beautiful and dramatic — waves were huge! Double red flags most of our stay, but we did not care.

If you're headed down Florida way and looking for a place to stay, Sandpiper Cove in Destin is the top spot without question! With views of the ocean, 10 amenity greens; pure white sand beaches so pristine – hospitality unbeatable, I’m sure you’d all agree, and a golf course that’s absolutely free! A “life bar” that’s not restricted? I think coming here can be addictive! Had such a great time; there was no need to be thrifty! Our stay was fabulous in condo 2150!

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to 2150 here at Sandpiper Cove. Beds & couch were so comfortable; condo is beautifully decorated & kitchen is well stocked. Plus that view & the ease of access to the beach – made things very doable with four small kids in tow.

We had a great time at the condo! It was clean and well equipped. There was so much to do on Sandpiper Cove’s grounds, we rarely had to leave! The beach chair service was such a great service to have!

This was our second year staying at this same condo. We love the location and the access to the beach and water Taxi to the Destin Harbor. A huge plus is the Beach Service that this unit offers. We’ll absolutely be back.

Just got back from a 4 day vacation for a Memorial Day with 16 yo and 9 yo boy. It was incredible! Heather is hands down the best host I have ever had, and this property is probably my most favorite we have ever visited. The beach is amazing, you can drive to it and park for free across the street. it is walkable for sure, just hard with all the beach things. Pools are amazing too, just so quaint and family friendly. seriously, we want to buy here someday, and hire Heather. Every detail was thouhht of. The bunk beds with TV were a hit! My 16 yo said he was living his best life 🤣! Beds extremely comfy, everything super clean. Grocery store across the street. Eat at Stewbie's Seafood! Local recommended, did not disappoint, super nice folks and sent home a slice of pie!! Looked into boat slip rental, it was like $300 for 1-7 days, but you have to find somewhere else to park your trailer. But we didn't even leave the resort hardly. Just perfect. This unit is a gem!

We went for my son’s baseball tournament and everything was great from the moment we walked in to check out defiantly worth the memories. The beach is a small distance but you are welcome to drive to the other side and park with no issues. We drove out there once only because of the baby but other two times we walked took the wagon for the little ones. Property was friendly and quiet, very helpful. I like that they had an ice machine on property.

Heather was fantastic, we were even able to meet her in person while staying. The home was just as described. The beach was within walking distance and we went every day. We had all we needed as we cooked all our meals the entire time we were there. We had a slight issue, completely beyond Heather’s control, and she was very kind to help resolve it. I will add that the bunk room has no airflow to it but there is a fan. My kids prefer to have door shut while sleeping and it got hot in there. I opened it each night after they were asleep and positioned the fan in the doorway and it cooled off right away. Just a helpful tip for those who might stay with smaller kids who might not mention it gets hot in there. We would definitely stay here again if we ever come back for vacation.

I can't say enough good things about this place! It was such a cute and cozy place with private beach access. We come to Destin often but 10/10 recommend this area! Would definitely book with Heather in the future for this condo. She helped with everything and always responsive. All the neighbors were friendly as well. This location had everything you need to enjoy a beach vacation and easy access to everything and location was spot on as far as getting around and being close to everything. She had pamphlets and a binder for all the info. Very clean. We will be back :) Heather was an awesome host!

The beach setup is top-tier for travelers who are flying into this beautiful destination and can't lug around all their typical beach gear. The restaurant on site is amazing. A great brunch spot down the street offers authentic Italian coffee, crepes, and frittatas. Be sure to take extra laundry soap. If you travel to the beach often, you know how much you need to wash beach towels and clothes. One suggestion for a future stayer is to send someone from your group to reserve your beach setup at 9 am when they open so you can get a beautiful front-row view. It doesn't matter what time you show up to use it, it will stay reserved all day. The location was everything we expected and more. I will return. Heather was great, and always available!

The condo is exactly like it is in the photos and is beautiful. We loved it! Our 12 and 8 year old kids especially loved the bunk room with TVs for each bed. As someone else mentioned before the bunk room does get more hot and stuffy but with the fan that’s provided it wasn’t an issue for us at all. Everyone from the gate guards to the next door neighbors who live there were very friendly and welcoming. Heather answered any message I sent within just a few minutes and was very helpful. Having the beach set up included and our own washer and dryer was such a plus and made everything so much easier and convenient. We had such a great time we added an extra day onto our stay. We would love to stay here again in the future!

We always love staying at Sandpiper Cove and this unit did not disappoint. Heather was very responsive any time I had a question and was readily available the whole trip. Super cute, cozy and clean. We enjoyed coffee on the deck every morning and loved watching the ducks in the canal. The sunsets were beautiful in the evening. Easy walk to the beach, but we chose to just drive over instead. The beach service was very nice to have as well. We also enjoyed walking to dinner at Louisiana Lagniappe. Highly recommend this unit and will definitely be back. We had a great trip!

We have stayed in several Sandpiper Cove condos and this was the best one. The bed and furniture are comfortable and the deck on the canal was a nice place to have morning coffee or a drink at the end of the day. The walk to the beautiful beach is an easy 10 minutes through the condo complex and the chairs/umbrella setup is very nice to have. Onsite restaurant Louisiana Lagniappe is delicious, and other good restaurants are within walking distance. Heather is a very responsive and communicative host. We love Sandpiper Cove and would definitely stay in this condo again!

Beautiful View We had a great time during our week stay! We loved the view from the back patio and spent a lot of time looking for dolphins and watching the boats. Everything inside the condo was comfortable and clean. It was really nice having the pool next door. We loved the beach chair setup situation and it was very easy to go to and from the beach each day. We will definitely be back!

Have stayed on property several times in different units. The view at night was spectacular. They furnished beach towels which saved space packing. Also provided laundry soap. Best part about sandpiper cove is having ricks right there to get out of the sun have a drink or lunch without having to load up into the car and drive somewhere. A pool is 1 building away and we had it to ourselves all 3 evenings we went. The king size bed was ultra comfortable. Heather took care of every detail including the beach set up and was available within moments. A++

The view of the bay was amazing! We’ve stayed at Sandpiper for 3 years now in different units, and this one was our favorite. We like how easy it is to check in, that it’s a secure community, and the easy walk to the private beach. The free beach set up is the best. We used it every day. The pool right beside the unit is heated, and the pool with 3 hot tubs are just a short walk away too. It was very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed and the washer/dryer was convenient. The 2 king sized beds were comfortable and had tons of pillows. The bathrooms were clean and each had a shower with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and a hair dryer. There was a pickle ball set which we used to play on the lighted courts. Beach towels were available as well, which came in handy when ours were still wet. We messaged Heather the first night and she responded very quickly. We would definitely stay here again!!

The unit was excellent and views of the harbor were as good as you’ll get. Communication was great and our stay was smooth. Would definitely stay again.

Heather's condo was very comfortable with one of the best views in Sandpiper Cove. The view over the bay was gorgeous in the morning and you could watch the pelicans and other birds fishing while enjoying our morning coffee. The sunsets were spectacular and could be observed in all their glory. The back deck was also a perfect spot to watch the Saturday evening fireworks. The beds were comfortable. Although the condo is a little dated, it was very clean and the view made it outstanding. The kitchen was adequate, and stocked with a few spices, cooking spray etc. We were unable to shut the blind over the sink, which was probably a user error. LOL We would definitely reserve this condo again for a future visit to our favorite beach are in Destin. Thanks for hosting, Anita & Clark

The apartment was excellent. Super nice view, sun all day with beautiful sunsets in the evening and flying pelicans. The apartment has everything you need. The only thing is the air conditioning/heating that takes getting used to. It turns on in the middle of the night and makes loud noises that can't be turned off and blows in your face. That bothered me a lot. And the sliding windows in the living room cannot be locked; the locks are defective on both. There should also be a dishwashing sponge available for the kitchen. Otherwise, everything you need was there, including hairdryer, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, even body lotion. And beach towels for the summer, which we unfortunately did not need because it was too cold now in January. Overall, a highly recommended facility! What I would personally highly recommend is to rent a car as everything is very far away and difficult to reach on foot, for example, shopping. Thanks, Heather!

We had a great month’s stay at 2229. Location of condo was the best…on the bay…lots of thing to see. Even dolphins swam by one day! We could view the pickleball courts from the kitchen window, so we’d know when to get out there and play! The furniture was comfortable, and there were plenty of kitchen supplies. Heather was readily available when we had questions. We love the Sandpiper and hope to be back next yea

You can’t put anything big in it, it gets stuck taking it out and tore the trash bag. Maybe replenish the cooking seasonings. No salt very little pepper.

The unit was beautiful, loved the master bedroom especially having a door to go to deck from the bedroom and the bathroom was nice too. Closet space was great. The other bedroom was also nice with easy access to the top bunk bed and beds in all rooms were comfortable. Kitchen was nice and the pantry very roomy to put our groceries in. The washer and dryer combo was excellent very easy to wash and dry the beach towels. Really the only thing that we noticed was one night we wanted to make margaritas and glad we checked the blender first because it didn’t work. We would definitely rent this unit again. Lisa

Perfect Beach Getaway We had a wonderful spring break at Sandpiper Cove, and enjoyed the clean, comfortable, costal chic feel of the condo, with beautiful canal water views off the patio. The unit was an easy walk to the gorgeous, private beach, and we appreciated the beach chairs and high quality beach towels provided. The property was so much fun for our family, with heated pools, hot tubs, pickleball courts & golf course, and it was nice that the unit provided pickleball paddles & balls, and golf clubs for our use. We also found it easy to park with the dedicated parking spot, and enjoyed the location which was close to everything Destin had to offer, plus the restaurant on property was delicious! Communication was wonderful throughout the whole process, and all of our questions were answered promptly, with care and courtesy. We are so glad we chose this unit at Sandpiper Cove, and can’t wait to return here again! Thank you for a perfect beach getaway!

Sandpiper Always a good community to stay in lots of amenities and also in a great location. Unit was clean and on the canal perfect for my kids to feed the ducks and fish. I also brought a trailer and this unit can park trailers. Host was nice and just a text message away.

Wonderful family vacation spot Our stay here was absolutely wonderful. We had everything we needed and more. The space was very clean and neat. The instructions were very clear for check in and out. The staff at the rental property and at the beach were always friendly and genuinely helpful which made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed walking to the beach, nearby restaurants, pickle ball, and the swimming pools. We would definitely stay here again.

Beach front condo My family and I had a wonderful stay at this family friendly beach front condo. We enjoyed the pickleball courts, pool and hot tub. The condo was clean and the property manager was friendly and quick to respond to any questions. We would highly recommend staying at the Sandpiper Cove.

We love SPC this is our 4th time staying and it did not disappoint. Great view over the canal. The place was clean and had plenty of space for our family. I love being able to walk to the beach or heated pools and hot tubs. The host was responsive and quick to help if needed. Note:This Airbnb does not come with golf clubs, beach stuff or pickleball rackets. So make sure to pack your own. Also, if you have trouble with steps do not book this one as it’s lots of stairs. Over all we had a great stay and will be back!!

Just got back from a 4 day vacation for a Memorial Day with 16 yo and 9 yo boy. It was incredible! Heather is hands down the best host I have ever had, and this property is probably my most favorite we have ever visited. The beach is amazing, you can drive to it and park for free across the street. it is walkable for sure, just hard with all the beach things. Pools are amazing too, just so quaint and family friendly. seriously, we want to buy here someday, and hire Heather. Every detail was thought of. The bunk beds with TV were a hit! My 16 yo said he was living his best life 🤣! Beds extremely comfy, everything super clean. Grocery store across the street. Eat at Stewbie's Seafood! Local recommended, did not disappoint, super nice folks and sent home a slice of pie!! Looked into boat slip rental, it was like $300 for 1-7 days, but you have to find somewhere else to park your trailer. But we didn't even leave the resort hardly. Just perfect. This unit is a gem!

I had a fantastic stay! The place was impeccably clean, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout my visit. We had a couple questions but they were answered quickly (within minutes). The location couldn't have been better – just a short walk to the beach and in a quiet area. Highly recommend

We absolutely loved it! The condo is decorated great and is only a 2-3 minute walk to the beach! Heather has everything there to make the stay great! If you’re looking for a clean, nice, and safe feeling place to stay close to the beach this is it!

My family of 4 with 2 teens loved Heather’s place. We felt right at home and comfortable. It looked just like the photos, and we enjoyed the private beach and other amenities at Sandpiper Cove. We would definitely recommend this condo in particular (unit 3205) and stay again. Thank you Heather!

The view of the bay was amazing! We’ve stayed at Sandpiper for 3 years now in different units, and this one was our favorite. We like how easy it is to check in, that it’s a secure community, and the easy walk to the private beach. The free beach set up is the best. We used it every day. The pool right beside the unit is heated, and the pool with 3 hot tubs are just a short walk away too. It was very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed and the washer/dryer was convenient. The 2 king sized beds were comfortable and had tons of pillows. The bathrooms were clean and each had a shower with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and a hair dryer. There was a pickle ball set which we used to play on the lighted courts. Beach towels were available as well, which came in handy when ours were still wet. We messaged Heather the first night and she responded very quickly. We would definitely stay here again!!

Heather’s place is really nice and squeaky clean! The best part that did it for me was the fact that she has all the essentials needed for the beach, golf and board games! No boredom whatsoever!
